BLIZZARD OF 2026
Happy Sunday NYC Family,
The Blizzard of 2026 is rolling in, and with forecasts calling for up to two feet of snow across New York City, we have decided to close the office tomorrow to keep everyone safe.
Let’s be honest. Most of us are not shoveling driveways in Manhattan. We are navigating sidewalks, subway stairs, slushy corners, and apartment building lobbies. And those icy steps and slick curbs can be just as tough on your spine as a heavy lift.
Snowstorms in the city create a different kind of stress. Cold weather tightens muscles. Walking carefully on slippery sidewalks changes your posture and gait. Carrying groceries, climbing stairs, bracing against the wind. It all adds up. And when your body is under physical stress, your
nervous system feels it too.
Remember, your spine protects your nervous system. And your nervous system controls every function in your body. When life gets stressful, whether it is weather, work, or the
pace of the city, keeping your spine aligned helps your body adapt and stay resilient.
So tomorrow, slow down. Stay warm. Hydrate. Stretch gently. Maybe do a few light mobility drills in your living room
before heading out into the cold. Take the stairs carefully. Wear proper footwear. Move intentionally.
We will reopen Wednesday during our normal business hours and look forward to seeing you then,
refreshed and ready to keep your health momentum strong through the rest of winter.
Enjoy the beauty of a quiet, snow-covered New York City. Stay safe. Stay warm. Stay healthy.
See you Wednesday ❄️
